Organizer: Jenn Lumley
Activity Type: Scrambling
Difficulty Rating: Intermediate,
Itinerary: headed down to the David Thompson region to hike/scramble (mostly hike) up little Abraham. Elevation gain is 810m and requires full sunlight, so an early start on Saturday it is! This hike is steep and the scramble has some brief sections of small exposure, so not really for the faintest of hearts.
We will go at a slower pace with breaks as needed. I’m not a drill Sergeant. Some bushwhacking is required.
After the hike/scramble we can enjoy a fire at one of the great camp spots in the area. It will be chilly, so prepare for winter conditions.
We can arrange car pooling, and don’t forget we all need our camp permits
