Program Information:
Easy 3km hike along a portion of the Shoreline Trail to Beaver Bay with a Campfire and Constellations. "With a park interpreter and Orion as your guide, settle in next to a campfire and gaze up into a sky full of stars and learn to navigate the night sky of the Beaver Hills Dark Sky Preserve. Without the glow of city lights you’ll see more than you knew existed!"
Includes:
Parks Canada interpretative program
Stargazer / Planisphere that's yours to keep
Use of snowshoes during the program
Use of a red headlamp during the program

Meet @ Shoreline Trail trailhead. Prerequisites / Courses Required: none
Required items to bring:
Multiple warm layers in preparation for 2+ hours in the cold.
Optional headlamp. Program includes use of red light headlamp.
Park pass for each vehicle entering (day pass can be bought at kiosk upon entry)
Full tank of gas
Your own snowshoes from the city if you're feeling optimistic about the snow!
