Intro to Outdoor Trad Climbing
Come join us for an exciting day of learning the ropes of outdoor trad climbing in beautiful Canmore! This event is perfect for beginners looking to expand their climbing skills beyond the gym walls. Our volunteers will lead you through the basics of setting up gear, placing protection, and making your way up the rock. Get ready to enjoy the fresh air, stunning views, and the thrill of climbing in a natural setting. Don't miss out on this opportunity to take your climbing to new heights! . Prerequisites: Previous sport climbing experience. Experience setting and cleaning outdoor rock anchors. Can climb 5.10- comfortably on lead outside. Camping Friday and Saturday night included.
