Itinerary: Deana and I are camping at Sibbald Lake Provincial Park and then doing some easy leads and top ropes at Porcupine Creek Crag
Prerequisites / Courses Required: must have your top rope belay check at a Alberta climbing gym
If you would like to camp, there are still several reservable spots available at Sibbald Lake Provincial Park but you are responsible for arranging your own camping. However, if you camp, let us know and we can get together for marshmellows.
We will meet at the road for the walk in to Porcupine Creek at 9am on Saturday morning.
All signed up participants will be added to a Whatsapp chat to coordinate everything.
Required items to bring: harness, climbing shoes, helmet, belay device, your own food and camping gear. Let us know if you are needing any gear because there is some available through the GMMC.
As per club guidelines, participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodations and transportation.
