Itinerary: We will meet at indoors at the Alfred Savage Center for some Avalanche Canada App discussion and head outside for search and rescue drills. There will be about an hour of outside activity.

Prerequisites / Courses Required: You should have a interest in mountain recreating in the winter safely and be ready to help any party that may be in need.

You will need to have the Avalanche Canada App downloaded on your phone.

Required items to bring: Headlamp, warm clothes, Avalanche Transceiver, Shovel, Probe.

As per club guidelines, participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodations and transportation.
