Activity Type:  Ski Mountaineering

Difficulty Rating: Intermediate

Itinerary: Participants will depart Edmonton on Friday May 15, and camp at Wildhorse Creek in David Thompson.   On Saturday the group will ski in to Bow Hut.   Sunday is open season for many objectives within proximity of Bow Hut.   These include Mt Rhonda, Mt Olive, Mt. Thompson, Mt Gordon: take your pick.  The group will ski out on Monday afternoon and return to Edmonton.

Prerequisites / Courses Required: Ski touring, glacier travel, navigation, AST1

Required items to bring: Avalanche, Glacier Travel, Navigation, Hut Stay, Car Camping

Red Tape: Public Lands Camping Pass, National Park Pass, ACC Hut reservation (2 nights), National Park Back Country Permit, Club Waiver

As per club guidelines, participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodations and transportation.
