Location: 4225-116ave in Edmonton (Cory and Jenn’s Backyard …or garage or living room if the weather is bad)

Plan: At least twice a year we like to do a gear check to make sure our equipment is up to date and operating well. Tonight is that night!!! 

The idea is that we get together to check for damage in ropes, expiry dates on slings, functionality of beacons etc. etc.  …and all the things that gear needs to ensure that we are confident it is safe and works well when it goes out on trips. 

• If you are experienced with this …come lend your expertise.

• If you are new and want to learn to check gear and get tips …come and learn

• If you just want to come and socialize …come and hang out

• Feel free to bring snacks

Also, the club is looking for a person to serve as a gear manager who houses the gear and serves as the person who organizes it for coordinators to pick up before and drop off after trips. If  you are interested in helping the club in this simple way, come out and let us know and we can show you how it’s done and how it can be a pretty fun way to help out!
