Expect beautiful vistas as we pass by four lakes for this simple two-night end to the backpacking season, weather permitting. We will ease the ascent by starting early so we don't have to rush and have plenty of time to kick back at the campsite. We could do a little exploring after we set up camp, if time allows. Trip costs are the Parks Canada backcountry rate per person.
The trail begins at the Vista/Arnica Lake trailhead, but we can make this a through hike by continuing to the Twin Lakes trailhead, depending on carpooling availability and whether we can use two vehicles.
Prerequisites / Courses Required: A) Experienced backpacker with some beginner and intermediate trip experienceORB) A strong hiker (at least 5 recent hikes with elevations over 600m in under 8km, such as Ha Ling), who is ready to begin backpacking with adequate shoulder-season backpacking gear.
Required items to bring: Shoulder-season backpacking gear.
